Terms and Conditions

 

 

Thank you for choosing to book with Peak Ski Adventures. We take great care in providing the highest quality ski coaching and ensuring a safe and fun time is had by all.

 

All prices quoted by us and paid for by you are for instruction only. It is your responsibility to pay separately for all other potential costs connected with the lesson, eg. lift passes, equipment hire, accommodation and insurance.

Please pay attention to the following terms of booking. This contract will be governed and interpreted in accordance with English law. If anything in it is not clear, please call us and we will be happy to discuss.

BOOKING

​

  • Clients attending our lessons must pay the appropriate fee in full, before joining the class.

  • In the case of advance bookings, we will reserve your place for a maximum of 7 days from the date of our confirmation, during which full payment must be made.

  • No contract will exist until we issue a receipt, accepting your payment. Prices may be subject to revision.

PAYMENT

​

  • We accept payment by BACS (bank transfer), credit card (VISA / MasterCard)or debit card.

CANCELLATION

​

In the event of you cancelling your reservation, the following charges apply:
– More than ten weeks notice – 10% of fee
– Between ten and four weeks notice – 50% of fee
– Less than four weeks notice – 100% of fee

  • No refund will be given by the ski school, in whole or in part, for unused lessons due to late arrival, illness or accident by a client, resort closure due to weather conditions or mechanical failure, or for any other cause outside the control of the ski school. We will, however, provide a letter for your insurance company where appropriate (by request).

  • No refund will be given for lessons cancelled by the client due to unfavourable/inclement weather conditions.

  • The ski school reserves the right to cancel its lessons for a variety of reasons. Full refunds of unused lessons will be made in this instance.

  • Course places are not transferable.

  • In the event of a full or partial refund Peak Ski Adventures will process payments within five business days. Peak Ski Adventures can not be held liable for any delays caused any associated third parties.

CLIENT COMMITMENTS

  • The ski school does not insure its clients. You are obliged to insure yourself with adequate winter-sports insurance including third party liability. We recommend that you arrange an appropriate policy, which should also includes personal, medical and rescue insurance, with a licensed agent.

  • For reasons of safety, it is a condition of booking that you will respect the professional judgment of your instructor whilst you are in the class.

  • Clients should present themselves in a fit and safe condition for physical activity in the mountain environment.

    If, at any time during your course, you have cause for complaint, you must let us know immediately and we will endeavour to address the situation, to your satisfaction. Peak Ski Adventures can not be held liable for any material displayed or contained within external websites.

 

 

DATA / PRIVACY 

 

 

Peak Ski Adventures will not store customer financial details (credit or debit card numbers). 

Peak Ski Adventures will retain your details you provide upon booking for future newsletters and offers from time to time. Please get in touch to inform us if you would not like us to retain these details and we will remove you from our contact list. We will store these details in line with our Privacy Policy. 

 

 

VIDEO FOOTAGE / PHOTOS 

​

From time to time Peak Ski Adventures takes footage of clients in our lessons using video and photos, we often send this on to you as a keepsake. We may use this footage in our marketing material or on our website. Please let us know by email to ben@peakskiadventures.com should you wish for Peak Ski Adventures not to use any photos/videos taken of you or your children for this purpose.
